The 2019 KW Pet Expo will be the largest pet consumer show in the Waterloo Region where you can learn about pet health care by some of the best and brightest within the industry. You will also be given the opportunity to browse the 120+ vendors for pet related products and services or sit and enjoy one of the many events. This will be a day you can have fun with your family, friends and pet!

On May 11, 2019 as part of responsible pet ownership month, the City of Pickering will host the 8th Annual Petapolooza - Pickering's Pet Festival.
Petapolooza brings together pet enthusiasts within our community and gives them an opportunity to meet industry professionals, rescue groups, and others in the pet industry.
WOOFSTOCK

Woofstock was the first festival to allow people to celebrate their dogs, indulge them, party with them and let them show off their special talents in fun and wacky contests and fashion shows. Woofstock is world famous, drawing Exhibitors and Attendees from all over North America. There isn’t a toy, fashion line, accessory, type of treat or exclusive service for Dogs that you can’t find at Woofstock.

WEINER FEST

Wienerfest Home County Festival is Canada’s largest breed specific event, focused on Dachshunds. In 2013, over 6,000 people and 1,000 dogs attended.
It’s a free family and dog-friendly daylong event that provide funding for pet rescue and raises awareness for the plight of abandoned and abused animals in Canada.
There will be many fun events, such as the ever popular Dachshund Races, as well as costume contests, and professional photo opportunities with the “wienermobile”.

Pawsitively Elgin is a volunteer-based organization which is designed to hold an annual event within Elgin County with the profits going back into the community through local area animal rescues.
